Dull area

When spraying enamel and clear coat with a gun what dull areas? I sprayed 3 base coats and 2 clear coats. MF red.

You applied 5 coats and have dull (not shiny) areas? What kind of enamel and clear? If the two products are not compatible, you might have lifting of the basecoat. Describe further what's happening and provide a picture.

High humidity can have an effect on gloss.

It's not hard to do to have a dull spot especially if the weather is hot. When you paint you overlap each pass with the paint and you have to keep a wet edge while you are spraying. If one pass dries before you come over it with the next one it can leave a dull spot. Then if you have a spot where the finish doesn't quite overlap it will cause a dull spot. Sometimes it's just too hot to spray and sometimes all it would take is a slow solvent so you would have more open time.
