Looking for a full set of 45 old dump rake tines. Rust dosnt matter.. I'm in Lafayette Louisiana. Thanks allot.

Single or double coil? New, they are about
$12/tooth. I have a couple rakes that are 70ish
models, but shipping would kill it.

Most dump rake tines were remanufactured into flower pot holds around here. Several years ago I scraped a perfectly good dump rake,I wish I had it now as a piece of ag history. I scaped a horse scuffler too.

I have one, but as others have said, we either want to keep them as family history or they when to the flower pot business.

this is a one horse rake, most were two, for years I could not understand how it worked to lift the rake teeth. Then one day, I just crawled up and sat down in the seat, then pulled the lift lever, the rake teeth popped up to the travel position. it uses your body weight to lift the rake teeth. when I was very small I remember my father and uncle raking up the hay with it, then stacking the hay, that was a long time ago.

the other picture is of my corn stalk cutter. an old man told me, the first time he saw one of those work, when he was a boy, he thought is was the greatest tool ever,
as they had a rough time trying to cut up corn stalks with a small disk pulled by mules.

this thing cuts up the corn stalks into 6 inch pieces, then the disc could cut up the row fine.

Those were some hard times.
