Duplicate serial number tag

On my John Deere B the seial number is just readable, I am wondering if I would be able to find someplace that can make me a duplicate tag.

I think some caution is in order when doing something about the serial number tag. If my tag was still readable, I would get out my letter/number stamps and stamp the s/n into the main case next to the tag and leave the tag as is. I"ve known collectors who bought in other countries, stamped the case and removed the tag until the tractor could be transported. A person could think it doesn"t matter today, but in years to come it could be, very important.

Great thought as there are tractors out there with non original tags on them some are even put together then have a tag installed it is happening lots with the John Deeres i know a guy who sells tags just for this purpose he found the remains of a rare tractor in a junk yd sold the tag for big money.
