It's been over 50 yrs since I disassembled the 327 cid engine that came in the '66 pickup I purchased new. I think this was same type engine mainly used in larger trucks & had 4 bolt main caps, 8:1 compression & 4 barrel carburetorChevrolet never made a 4 Bolt main manufactured stock block in a 327!
Yes. 1969 302s had 4 -bolt mains, and all SHP 350s had 4-bolt mains, but no 327s had 4 bolt mains.Red, some late 60's z 28 Camaro's had 4 Bolt 302's and 350's, maybe a 327 or two, and there may be a 4 bolt 400 passenger car out there somewhere.
Agreed.Chevrolet never made a 4 Bolt main manufactured stock block in a 327!
Most 350s did not have 4-bolt mains. Only SHP versions did.Not all 350s had them. And some other motors did.

Wonder if it had main caps?
Most 350s did not have 4-bolt mains. Only SHP versions did.
The 010 block can also be 2 or 4 bolt mains. The casting number ending in 010 does not equate to only 350's
