Early A brakes

I’ve put Chevy brake parts on 60s Dodge trucks before. Saying that to ask if there are any automotive parts that can be used to rebuild 40-45 JD A tractor brakes?

The attachment should be your part numbers

It’s possible if you want to try to spend the exact same amount of money except maybe include the 3 dollar spring you could try your local heavy duty truck parts location and take the old shoes in have them measured

The antique tractor places will order these by the pallet so while you might be able to match something up at o’reillys with the right person at the counter I wouldn’t risk the 30 bucks if you want to save some money rivet on the new shoe material and just buy a new spring. It’s best to order a new gasket anyway and pay for shipping by the time you cut that little one. don’t be like the two people who sold me my tractors and blue goober silicone around it. If anything new gasket with some shellac I use mine all summer mowing and a bit of cultivating and have never had to pull them off to rebuild. You likely should only have to do this once.
