Early Christmas

Has been a wonderful week, the machine shop finished the engine rebuild and since it"s been cold he let me come down and paint it inside where it was warm. Brought it home today and installed the flywheel/clutch and got "er back together, damn it was fun getting greasy again...
We"re experiencing La Nina and it was 48* for the afternoon high, next week is gonna be the same so I might have "er fired up befor X-mas.

Sawatch: Thanks for the pictures. What an impressive sight. I am envious, both for the rebuilt engine and your clean shop. As for the weather--wait 'til about the middle of Jan. the temps. may drop a bit. Bert

Doc,
That's the other part of "gettin greasy" is messin' up the shop again!
Last year at this time our high temps were in the 20's, and a couple feet of snow.
Maybe it'll stay this way for a couple weeks then warm up!

Beautiful piece of work Sawatch. Keep those cards and letters coming! You have those horses on a downhill pull to the barn! Steve

Dunk,

Checked the seal and clutch parts and didn't need to replace anything at this time. I'll get it running and then I can start upgrading from the engine back as $ allows. This is to me a long term project moreso than a need to have tractor. I'm really enjoying working on it so a splitting will be another great project.
