Early H rubber engine mounts

I've removed the governor on my '41 H to replace the governor seal due to an oil leak. Oil from the leak has been dripping onto the rubber engine mount for years and the rubber is degraded. I understand at serial break 96815 Farmall switched from a steel/rubber engine mount to a solid cast iron engine mount and the holes are in different positions requiring a frame rail swap if you are wanting to swap mounts.
Does anyone know where an early rubber mount can be located? Does anyone know if an early mount can be swapped from side-to-side or if I need to be specifically looking for a left mount?

Same one works on the sides. Unless tractor is to stay original you may consider changing to the solid type. Usually not to much trouble to find H frame rails. Or rail holes can be welded up with a drillable rod and drilled for the solid ones.

I have a parts H tractor and the other day I removed the oil filter canister for a customer and I noticed that there were rubber engine mounts. My e-mail should be open. Charlie

This topic answers a few of my mysteries as well. I own a 1940 H. Runs excellent and all that, but it vibrates the sheet metal and steering wheel. Is the vibration because of those early style engine mounts?

I certainly don't know, but would suspect that the rubber mounts would tend to have a vibration dampening affect and the vibration would be slightly worse with straight cast iron mounts.

First IH tractor I operated was a 41 H on the farm with the rubber mounts. Didn't notice any difference in the vibration. Over time the rubber mounts did let the frame rails raise in relation to engine so the hand crank onto crankshaft part didn't line up. Saw several rubber mount ones like that. Probably one reason IH made the change to the solid mounts, lot more hand cranking done back then.
