Early John Deere sprayers

I bought a little 29B JD sprayer for spraying some odds and ends with that I can't do with my big sprayer. I was just curious when these were made.

Frist sprayers JD made in 59'; Model 30 was pull type style.. Model 29 came out in 61' improved 29B in 65'....

I have a 29-A with a 10 ft. boom that I spray the yards with, got it at a sale with the manual. The big sprayer has 90 ft booms,,it don't work out well in the yard....

That's quit the sprayer, did you lengthen the tractor a bit?, I remember several years ago one of the magazines had a write up about a guy that took a new 4430 and made a high crop sprayer out of it.

It is a JD 1120. I made it 1meter longer between the clutchhousing and the gearbox. The axles etc. inside too.

The centre of the 1500lt. tank is 7 cm. before the the rear axle, so al the extra weight is on the rear axle. It took a lot of time to make this, but is works fine.
