Early Super 55 Tachometer

There are 2 styles of tachs for the Super 55. It has the early style on it but I prefer the newer style like on the 550. Will the new style replace the old style and use the same hook up?

Noticed the tach drives look differnt which leads to the question if the tach drives can be substituted for each other?

Measure the diameter of the tach. The one on my 550 quit working and the new one I bought was smaller, had to make a filler ring to put under the tach so it didn't fall thru the hole.
