Easiest/best LED conversion.

I have a '53 SM Stage 2. I don't care if I have pancake lights or the tear drop lights on it. Both would look correct on a '53 to me. What's the easiest led lights to do that look like factory? I don't care for the look of some led's from the front that don't look like factory lights.

You can purchase LED bulbs with far more brightness that fit where the standard non sealed beam bulb bayoneted in using the teardrop style. finding a lense and holders to modify a pancake is harder. Jim

Home Depot sells a PAR36 12V LED "landscape" light bulb. PAR36 is the style of light that fits in the newer headlight housings used on the 06 series and later. It's also a pretty close fit for the pancake light housing, with a couple of minor modifications. If you grind off the alignment tab and cut away one "leg" of the rubber gasket to make room, you can install these bulbs in pancake housings.

The thing about the Home Depot light is that it looks like a plain jane everyday GE halogen bulb at first glance.

Worthington Ag sells a direct replacement for the 441 bulb for most tractors. Not sure of the Lumens or brightness of the bulb. Don't know the color either all have something to do with brightness and coolr of the light. Never can remember all of that till I reread it each time I'm looking for them.
