I may be in the wrong place, but I bet one of the knowledgeable folks on here may be able to help me out. I work at a winey and we use an old milk chiller tank to chill down our wine to drop the tartrates out prior to bottling. It has an electric motor on it that runs a paddle to stir the liquid in the tank. The motor has a slow leak and I need to fix it and refill it. Problem is, I can't find any data on it. It is a Gear Master motor made in Dayton OH. That company has changed hands and been absorbed a number of times. I need a best guess on what fluid goes in the gear box. It is pretty thick stuff.
