Electric start conversion for a JD A

My neighbor wants to convert his hand start A to an electric start. Are there aftermarket conversion kits available? Told him I would check on the forum and let him know. Thanks for any help. Email is open. P.S. An after thought-- does the factory still have these kits available?

I can't say aftermarket parts are available - maybe. Going to JD, if they have them, the price will stop and angry Elephants heart. Just sayin'.

You need to find a parts tractor or a salvage yard with the starter top plate, starter, flywheel with ring gear, and flywheel guard. These items are not hard to find as many of these A's have been parted out. If you need more help email me.
