Electric starter for Gibson

If there's no way to install an electric starter you could probably install a Delco starter/generator. My old Wards tractor has that setup. I use my tractor on this old Toro to start it. Some of these had the S/G, but I don't use it much anymore and the tractor works great for starting it. Hal

Kohler and Briggs used S/G on their engines for starting and charging the battery. Here's a diagram Kohler used on some of their's w/ a SG. Hal

I just saw one at a tractor show in Bowling Green Ky with a cub cadet S/G mounted. It was mounted on the frame, on the left as you look at the front of the tractor. V/R, solenoid, amp gauge, key switch, all hooked up and working fine. Spun the motor over with no problems. My dad and I have a gibson that we are going to "retrofit" with this system. Thinking about a farmall amp gauge box to clean up the wiring.
