Electric twine tie speed

hello! i have an electric twine controller. its on my nh850 baler, is there anyway the speed can be adjusted? mine seems to go too fast in both directions. thank you

Pretty sure you can buy a controller to adjust the speed of the actuator. Basically just need to reduce voltage. I looked them up a while back because Id like to slow mine down too, but I never went any further.

You could just stop in several places across the bale. The trouble with slowing it down is going to be that it'll come down to the center of the bale to start the twine slowly then go to the outside slowly too. My Gehl is computerized, I don't have to do anything but sit in the seat, that one has a function on the screen to choose how many wraps of twine you want on the bale and it just changes how many time the twine arm pauses and for how long.

Yep, thats the reason I didnt go any further with the idea. There are times I want it to go fast. My old baler was manual so I got to like how it wrapped when I moved the string arm real slow, but for now it makes more sense to just pause every so many inches.
