emblem paint

Earlier, I had posted picture of my 800 emblem that I had painted. If anyone would like to try doing theirs, it's really not that hard. But you do need a little patience and a steady hand. The paint can be purchased at your local hobby shop.The colors are Ford engine blue, red, and chrome yellow. The brushes are Micro brush fine. Hope the picture helps to identify what it all looks like. Bob

funny you mention that.. yesterday I was painting my ford script on my 740 and remembered your painted emblem, and I took my micro fine brush and touched up the red '700' on my old chrome emblem. thanks for posting your emblem idea.

Bob, how was the show in Phoenix last weekend? Are you going back for the auction next weekend?

Jim, The show was great! Had beautiful weather, with lots of tractors to look at. Not to many Fords though. At the tractor pull, a Ford 851 had one of the best percentage pulls. Makes me really want to get mine together and running. I'm not going to the auction, but will be going next month to the show in Apache jct. Bob
