eng. temp.pressure

275 with 248 eng. When worked hard temp likes stay on high side just below the red but never runs hot. Temp stays on botoom of geen if doing light work. Never builds up any pressure on radaitor cap tried new cap also. never need to add water level stays up.
Going to have oil cheked seems to blaken very quick have a bad smell. any Idears anyone? doesn"t use much oil

Sounds like you are doing ok with water temp.
Black oil is from some blow by past the rings.
Everything sounds normal except the strange smell. Someday computers will let us post smells.
