I would say no. I used to have a 1974 DB 885. I don't recall much about it but I googled 780 and found this:


The 780 is a small tractor all the way through. Frame is about 2-3" inches narrower than an 880. The 880 is more like a 990 with a 3 cylinder engine stuck in it.

I'm gonna guess no too. I've got a 990 and an 850. The 990 is physically a larger tractor.
