Engine swap

Hi I was wondering if anybody on these forums has swapped a non original motor into these style tractors? Thanks DJ

A friend of mine and I thought about it
once. He had about a 45 hp Isuzu diesel
engine out of a ThermoKing reefer that got
wrecked. We went so far as to take a few
measurements, etc to see if it was
feasible. Ultimately though you still have
a tractor with no live anything and we
thought our time and $ would be better used
rehabbing a tractor that has more options
to start with.
I never thought much of those V8
conversions. If you like toys I guess
they're ok but I'll take a real tractor
over a toy anyday.

Did this one a couple years ago, had lots of fun driving it around. Didn't do any work with it, no govenor. This one has a 302 ford engine in it.
