will 88 diesel engine swap with a 770

With some modification I believe it will but I dont think it's a direct bolt in.
Hopefully someone will clarify.

The motor mount bolts will line up,but the 88 engine is longer behind the rear mount. You'll have to use the 770 PTO drive shaft and main drive shaft. I'm not too sure about the height of the neck for the top rad hose in regards to lining up with the radiator.

May have to shorten up pto shaft and engine drive
shaft by 3/4?. Not sure on fan,
