I have a Craftsman engine are these built by craftsman or is it built by BS, Kohler,etc why I want to know I need to rebuild one but don"t know where to get the parts Thanks 70D

It may be a Tecumseh engine. Sears used a lot of these engines over the years. It was rumored that Sears had a controlling interest in this company at one time. I used one of their engines on a log splitter. I never had any problems with the engine. It was a little stiff to rope start in cold weather, but I used my garden tractor and a v-belt to start it.
