Farmall A with an exhaust lift valve needs to come apart and repair. 1. Whats the best way to get this badly rusted thing apart. 2. It will need new pipe thread on the output side. Should I braze or use a cast iron welding rod and then re-tap it with pipe threads? Or do I weld on a pipe coupling?
I"ve not found replacement parts as of yet for this. Any ideas where to look?
