Exhaust valves

I have an early 50 8n I need to replace the valve train. How do I know if I have rotating or non rotating exhaust valves?

Look at them. The rotators are tiny caps that slip over the end of the exhaust valves- they look like an oversized percussion cap. A valve that has rotators will
also have a deeper valve retainer cap (to make room for the rotator cap) than the intake valve right next to it has.

If youre replacing the entire valvetrain, just order whichever style you prefer. Rotating exhaust valves were an improvement, but plenty of N engines seem to run
just fine without them.
