F-20 F4 Magneto

Anyone know of a part# or source for the 3 small pins that hold the distributor disc to the gear in an F4 Magneto?

Feel quite silly now with how much time has been spent, but the symptoms we have been fighting make a lot more sense now knowing the disc was turning (intermittently I suspect) only due to friction as there are no pins to be found....

Thank you! That helps at least knowing thatI hadn't seen if they were threaded into the gear, should be able to find something to work.

(quoted from post at 21:59:17 02/27/22) They should be screws.

No, they should be small pins, the picture you posted is of an E4A magneto. The original poster is woking an F4 magneto two totally different magnetos

You do have the brass t that goes on there I assume? Im trying to remember who carried a good bit of parts for those but I cant think of who it was now.

Maybe Rice equipment in PA. They have stuff for the F series tractors, don't know what they have for a F4 mag.

You can probably buy a parts mag (a mag that don't work), at just about any salvage yard that deals with any of the F-series Farmalls.
I seen several non working F-4 mags on a sale last fall, and they brought 15 to 20 dollars a piece. A farmall tractor salvage guy was there. He did not get them. I figured they either brought more than he gets out of them, or he had a pile of them at home already.

I bought a few F4 parts from him, but that isnt the place Im thinking of. This guy had rebuilt units, units for parts, and so on. for a good many magnetos, not just Ih mags, but he a good bit of new/NOS and aftermarket parts for IH mags specifically.

Give Rudy Calin a call at Rebuiltmags(dot)com. He has a ton of rotors and parts magnetos. He would be very happy to sell you a good/resurfaced rotor. And yes, the rotor disc is held to the gear by plastic/composite pins, not screws.
