handcrank

After getting my f12 started, it ran for
a while and died. I cranked it for quite
a while with the choke on then removed
the plug in the bottom of the carb.Im
getting no gas to the carb. I went over
the fuel pump before and I thought it
was okay. After setting for so long (ten
years).maybe the diafram has a hole in
it. I have a fuel pump kit ordered. Do
you think I'm on the right track?
Thanks, Don.

yes, most times I run the tractor on a small mower tank gravity feed direct to the carb.
Than you can see if your fuel pump will pump fuel not connected to carb, good for testing.
Install a new diaphragm and than see if it will pump fuel. Make sure all you lines are clean.
Most F-12 due to age will have some sediment in the tank, best you clean out the tank and add a sentiment tank screen on inside of tank.
Steiner sells them. oldiron29

I have put a couple of diaphragm's into my F14 so its a good place to start. I got mine from a junk yard where it had sat for several years and problems with corrosion in the fuel line. Tractor would start and run for a while, sometimes a day or two and would just quit. In a few minutes it started back up again. Since you will have one end off I would remove it and make sure its clear as part of the process.
