F20 Behlen Road Gear

Trying to mount up my Behlen road gear onto my F20, however the road gear doesn't clear the drain plug on the front of the transmission right next to the drive shaft. Anyone know how it is supposed to be properly mounted to clear this plug? Thanks.

When I went to mount mine, it didn't line up square to the transmission case. I had to make a 3/16" spacer to make it sit flat and not bind. I asked the salvage yard that I got it from about it and they never did get back to me with any information. And I had to cut about 1/8" off my level check plug on the transmission, as well.

Unfortunately none of these salvage units come with a parts list or instructions. I feel for you, I had to figure it out myself. If you have any other questions, my e-mail is open.

I used an Allen head plug. They sit flat.

Correct. Use an inverted plug. Allen drive or 3/8" square that your ratchet fits into.
