F20 Radiator

Hello Farmall friends,
I am restoring the radiator on my F20 Farmall. Quick question. When putting on the new gaskets on the top and bottom tanks, should silcone sealant be used and if so, what kind is applicable?

Wayne, I like hi-tact on all my water conections gaskets and silicone on all oil holding gaskets

Loctite makes this I see. Is it similar to Permatex Indian Head Shellac? Maybe not. I do remember my Grandfather using Indian Head Shellac on the head gasket on the old F20 back in the late 70's. I will get some of the hi-tack as you mentioned.
