F30 running hot problem found

Posted a question a few days ago about my F30 running hot. The cause was..........someone had intentionally blocked off both the radiator elbow
and elbow to water manifold connection with a solid gasket ( no thermostat found). No water could possibly circulate with it being completely
closed in two places. The previous owner had said something about using it in tractor pulls in the past. I assume this was to make it run hot
for a short time for more power. Iv'e had dozens and dozens of old tractors, you just never know what you'll find - again.

some peoples kids! i knew it was not circulating and a tear down found it. good you got it. lots of times you can watch the water when rad is full and actually see the water moving.

I wonder if they blocked it off because it was leaking some where? Maybe a cracked head etc. I would keep a close eye on it for a while.
