Fairbanks Morse on Styled B

Hey there guys. I have a Fairbanks Morse J2B6 on my 41 B. Is this the correct mag? It has run with this one and wanted to make sure there is nothing wrong with applying this style before I restore it. Thanks for any and all info again.

It probably didn't come with the FM, but, A Wico "C". I wouldn't toss the FM as it is a better magneto and easier to get parts for, (not my opinnion but, acording to some experts here who just happen to rebuild magnetos on the side).
This question has been asked before about the FM magneto (check the archives).
The magneto like the spark plugs, is not a permanent item and can be swapped in a few minuites for a correct magneto for show.
I have a new J2B6 to go on my 46 Long Hood "A"
in place of the Wico XH that was on it when I bought it. I also have 4 other XH magnetos for parts and a J2B6 that I will have rebuilt for a spare.
