thanks Don,, the VA was a first time puller of it and the plan was to just take it to the filed and hook the 970/1070 on the spreader like normal,, I tried a load with it and it worked so well I did 10 more,, well 9 actually spread till the top drawbar strap 10% of welds left gave up,, 1070 with a/c and cab to keep the clods/rocks from smacking me at the end is nicer anyway lol

Tom, is that silt out of a catch basin or feedlot manure? Somebody cut a fiber optic line near here and I'm using my "fine print" phone and it's hard to tell. Never thought a spreader would be heavey enough for straight soil.

Sounds like a winner. I had a 50 vac drawbar break like that with a new holland compact 65 baler on it. Fortunately no other damage. Little weld job and and back in business.

all looks fine plenty of movement with out binding,, maybe because its a VA and closer tot he ground than a VAC
