Fan blade

I have a 9600 Ford with a hiniker cab on it. Instead of the cooling condenser sitting in front of the radiator it sits on top of the cab like cat does it. I have a small fan blade that has broken, where can I find such a blade?

You can get replacement fan blades from Amazon, McMaster Carr. Heck if you have some one in your area with a 3d printer they could make you one.

Many things can be made with a 3D printer, Fan blades are not one of them. Even the toughest ABS has spaces inside the matrex of deposited plastic that reduce strength. Blades
whizzing off are not desirable. A 3D printer job would cost 10 times the price of a new blade. We have 12 3D printers of various print material at SCSU and none of them are
suitable for high reliability glass reinforced components. The 3D modeling to create the file to print would also take 10 hours or so. Jim

Might try a salvage yard. A M Gleaner had fans similar to your 9600. Years ago I needed a blower fan for a 9700 and was able to match up one to work from an auto supply catalog.

You'll want to try to match it as close as possible. Too much pitch and it will over amp the motor. Not enough and it won't move enough air.

Is Hinkler still in business, or the AC manufacturer? They might have a replacement.
