Farm trac 555 dtc tractor was going across pasture and loader went down not pick up Assuming hydraulic pump quit is there anything else I need to check before replacing the pump? It will barely try to curl bucket, but not enough to move bucket. Thanks in advance.

Did you blow a hose? Shouldn't just drop if the pump died. The loader valves should hold the oil in the hoses unless one ruptured.

Does the 3 point lift work ok
The loader shouldn’t drop even if the pump is completely shot as long as you don’t work the levers
If the 3 point works you probably have a cylinder seal leaking on one of the lift cylinders
