Farmall 1206

Will try to post a couple pictures of one we bought last fall on a consignment sale. It's a 1966 model with 6500 hours showing. It came with the front weights, the correct 1206 3rd-link and fenders with no handle hold on right fender. Pictures were taken on the way home from the auction. We paid $8000 for it.

My guess would be 7500. But it all depends on the area. Here,(western Colorado)the tractor pictured would barely hit 5000.

The problem is "average" means a lot to different people. Those tractors are 50 years old. Is average "field ready" or is average runs and moves and the tires will hold air for a week? The one we had looked a lot like the one in the picture below down to the weight bracket and cab - but that was in 1979 and it had just over 8000 hours on it. If its still running (doubtful) I wouldn't want much to do with it.

DeltaRed, if you can find 1206's that run with straight tins, all badges, correct third link and early no hole right fenders with the Roosamaster pump all for $5000, then you start loading as many semi trailers and rail cars that you can find and I will be out with a blank check. But, I have a feeling that I won't have to worry about making any room in my shed.

There was one on Craigslist in Michigan for
sale for a long time for 15k. Said engine
was just gone through and had receipts.
Looked decent with good rubber. Don't know
if he sold it or gave up. So I'd say 10-15k
around Michigan depending on condition.
