farmall 2 pt hitch

can you adapt a 3 pt. brush hog to a farmall 2 pt sys ? this is on a 300

I'm sure it could be done but it would be easier to go the other way around and get the piece that go in the 2 point hitch and make it work as a 3 point

I agree with Old. I have adapters on my 300 that slide into the fast hitch. I made up a bracket that goes on the tractor for a toplink. Have a 3 pt. brush cutter, snowblower, and back blade. Works great. Id convert the tractor. Not every implement to fit the tractor.

My 300U has a rock shaft for the 3rd link so I just bought the 2 pt prongs and I use it on my 3pt bush hog. If yours is a row crop then I don't know if there is a rock shaft - I don't think so.

Here is mine for a Super C fast hitch. It had the big pongs, so I cut them down to fit my small prong hitch.

Ive had a set of these for years. Theyre very proud of them these days I dont think I paid $100 for both.
I bought a attachment for a center link that bolts between the lift arms that I really like from Bates Corp just last year. Before that I just used a piece of chain for a center link. That worked ok if you were just carrying something like a bush hog but not so good with back blade etc.

Im real new to this tractor thing. But I know I need a 3 point hitch. But Im not ready to spend 1200$ on a hitch .

If you have the fast hitch you can buy the 2 arms to convert it to 3 point and rig a center link hook up pretty easy BTDT on a good number of tractors
