Wondering about value and how rare is Farmall 300 FACTORY LP narrow front FACTORY TA AND FULL HYDRAULICS and 3 pt nice looking old tractor tires do hold air

bought one in May 2012, gas 300, came with 6 foot brush hog, 7 foot rear blade huge bucket for three point, motor was stuck, sheet metal new but needed paint, radiator junk, ( tree had fallen on tractor) paid $2000, put that much into it, pistons bearings, head work, radiator paint, starter, hope this helps, if its agood running tractor and only needs TLC,probably worth $2000

The farther north you go the less common, the farther south, the more common. In OK. probably not rare, but not common. Nice tractor if you have fueling capabilities. PITA if not. If the metal and tires are 80% or better, it is a 3000 Dollar unit. The engines on Propane last longer and give great service. Jim

I bought one a number of years ago for $1500. Factory wfe, live hydraulic and TA. Rear tires about 60%. Great tractor. I did have issues with the live hydraulic. While baling with a round baler, it didn't keep pressure on the baler, and allowed for the baler to open when it wasn't supposed to... I never did figure that one out... I just switched over to my good tractor. This was in northern Idaho.
