Farmall 450 8 Foot pull type shredder

Have a possibility of buying an 8 foot pull type shredder/brush hog. Will the 450 handle it okay/have enough power for it? Thanks, kelly

Dad got an IH #25 5 ft Fast-Hitch rotary chopper with our 1957 450, worked great chopping corn stalks on two 38 inch rows, ran 4th gear with ease, had to ease the clutch out or the front wheels would come off the ground. Dad fabricated a pivoting hydraulic tail wheel to carry some of the weight of the chopper.
Pulled a 6 ft BRILLION pull-type with my Super H over several hundred acres every year, 160 acres of corn stalks plus 3 cuttings on 20 acres of alfalfa hay, our old Oliver sickle mower was way beyond wore out, the Brillion actually did a pretty good job, never plugged, 3rd gear, roughly 5 mph, could have pulled something wider.
