Got a 460 diesel that im gonna use for pulling and was wondering if turning the fuel to it is the same as doing it to a 560D? Also is there a benefit to doing so?

Yes turning up the fuel makes a difference. But if you want to win, look for a 301 Gas combine motor from a 503 or a 715. Motor is a bolt in deal and a instant 100 hp. Then strip it bare hyd, power steering, everything.

it may do alright in the stock classes but we had a guy that put a turbo and turned the fuel to a 236 and it ran worse. it would take off good but seemed like the more fuel and air drowned it out and it would stall half track.

There used to be one that pulled with us and did really well. Don't know where it went but his last name was Shaffer maybe some body on here will read this and help you get in contact with him.

i doubt im gonna ever put a turbo on it but do you think getting rid of the oil bath and putting a k&n on it along with turning the fuel up will help even more?

ok thanks for the help i appreciate it i dont plan on going crazy with it just turnin it up a little bit.
