Farmall 460 hydraulics

I have a 460 gas and when it's running I hear a winding noise I believe it's the hydraulics does anyone know how to fix that

On my 460U if I hear a gear whine or singing, the fluid level is low. I believe the pump is lightly cavitating, sucking in some air. I also believe its good to fix it ASAP as it can prematurely wear the pump gearset.

If you have IPTO they can be pretty loud too, when the tractor is running, kind of a whining noise. Does the sound change when you use the hydraulics, if not then it's likely something else.

I don't use them at all. The noise comes and goes
every few seconds
