Farmall 560 leaking injector pump

I'm getting a constant spray of diesel from the outside corner of the pump, I will try to attach a video. The tractor still runs. Can I just put in new seals or should I just bite the bullet and purchase a rebuilt injector pump? Inhav had this tractor for 35 years so I know the injector pump is at least that old(pretty goood I think to last that long)
Thanks Jon

I suggest your select a jobber here to rebuild yours .
There are some very good rebuilders here on this site , they will also advise on how correctly remove ,ship and install ,
I do not suggest the least cost rebuild er , get three quotes , ask how many 560 pumps they have done ,
Just my thoughts ! Good luck
This what I did and it made my tractor come alive with 8000 hours on meter .

Take the top off and replace the gasket. Maybe your return check valve is stuck to cause this.

Thank you both for your replies, I do work on all my tractors and have the full shop manual for the 560's so I may just remove the top and check the gasket and check valve. If that fails then a rebuild makes good sense, I was just going to purchase one from All states... but that's a little pricey, a rebuild may be less and I have two other tractors to use while I wait for the rebuild.

Thers's no check valve in the top of the 460/560/660 pumps, that valve is in the bottom of the fuel tank. Those pumps also don't have speed advance, but a load advance system that's only correctly set on the test bench.

You can send Dieseltech’s a direct message by clicking his user name and opening his profile. Then you can start a Direct Message with him. This way what is discussed in private. I bet you will be surprised at how economical he will do it for you. Many who have, have commented about the good job he did for them.
