Farmall 560 LP help

If any of you remember, I posted here a while back about a leak at the gauge face on my 560. Well I finally got around to fixing it recently and put some propane in it. All was good there. I drove it around a while and backed it in the shed. I went to get it out the next day and now it won't go in gear. It just grinds. It's as if the clutch isn't disengaging.

It would be unusual for a clutch to rust to the flywheel overnight especially since the tractor was driven the day before, so something broke.

Pull the wire off the ignition coil, put the tractor in 1st gear, TA ahead, push the clutch pedal, and crank the engine. If it will crank over in gear with the clutch pedal down and move, the pilot bearing is probably seized and spinning the transmission. The tractor will have to come apart for a clutch job.

If it takes off when you try to start it, inspect the clutch pedal and linkage. Follow the rod from the clutch pedal to the clutch rockshaft. Push the pedal and watch. Does it move? If yes then you will need to dig deeper.

There should be an inspection cover under the belly of the tractor that will allow you to inspect and grease the throwout bearing. Open it up, shine a light in, and see what's going on. Any pieces fall out? Can you see anything broken up inside? Get someone to push the clutch pedal or figure out a way to do it yourself, maybe tie a rope on it and pull. Watch what goes on inside. Look for things going caddywompass or bending or flopping.

Long story short if you can't see anything obvious external, looking inside is just to confirm that the tractor needs to come apart for a new clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, and pilot bearing.

Well that's not good but thank
you alot for the info. It may be
a bit till I get to messing with
it. I'll post back what I find.
Thanks again.
