Farmall 706 decal??

putting decals on a 706 gas. The decal i have in the picture is obviously from another 706 I seen. it is painted over. I also did not receive it in my decal set. The decal is on the front of the hyd. cover that is right below the seat.

My question is - does anyone know what this decal says, size, etc. Anyone have an original they could send me or give me details of.

Any help is appreciated.

I don't recall seeing a decal in that location.

Consider that the decal may not belong there. Precise originality guides were not available when that tractor was repainted, so the painter may have just been sticking decals wherever he thought they should go, instead of where they belonged.

Many kits include "extra" decals too, and people sometimes think they *have* to use all the decals in the kit, so they just start sticking them... wherever.

Thanks for the reply. I should have mentioned in my first post, I have the 706 1/16th scale precision toy and there is also a similar looking decal on it. I have tried taking a magnifier and read, but no luck.

My guess is, it's a patent decal. Would have listed all the patent numbers that apply to various parts, mechanisms, etc. on your tractor. I don't
think they were included in the decal sets, at least after a while. There were updated decals, but they went to the dealers to replace the old ones in
the sets.

This is the tractor patent decal. It was not included in any IH decal sets......HOWEVER...I do offer this decal in my chassis decal sets. For tractors that were 3pt or fast hitch delete, the patent decal is on the seat support. It NORMALLY is on the sea shell cover for the 3pt/Fast hitch controls.
