Farmall A

What year did they put hydraulics on Farmall A. My brother has one that he says by serial # that it is a 1945 & it has hydraulics. Thanks.

I think hydraulics was available starting with the Super A which I think was late 40's - maybe 1947? I don't know if the same system used on a Super A can be added to a regular A.

Maybe the block was changed on his 45. First A with hy system was the SA in late 47 now we are talking factory hy system
