Farmall AV Light Switch

I've got a 41 av that im trying to rewire the lights. I pulled the switch and i'm not sure how to tell which terminal is to the battery. i figure if i find that one i can use a meter to test the continuity and figure out the rest. Thanks

Sometimes switches are marked bat,but not always.I doubt you could find a diagram of the switch.But with a meter,only 1 terminal should show continuity to all of the others in various positions.Mark

Presuming your AV has the original switch, generator and cutout, here are the switch connections.

It was not the origanal switch at some point
someone replaced it. I did the continuity
test and determined the switch is bad.
