Farmall B Drawbar Pins

My B has a sliding rear drawbar. No locking pins came with the used tractor. I know I can just shove a bolt on either side of the pull bar but that doesn't seem to be what Farmall originally used? Anyone know what was factory and are there any out there?

Steiner makes them but they don't quite fit the B but you can make them fit. That swinging drawbar is there so you can turn when in a heavy pull such as pulling a disk. It lets the tractor turn without making the draft equipment swing around behind you. I did that just this weekend when disking a heavy, wet field. If you didn't know that is why you have independant (steering) brakes also. If you are turning left, for example, you can ride the left brake to make the tractor turn. This is necessary when pulling very hard as the front end is very light in that situation.
Congrats on the "new" B.

Thank ya'll. I am pulling a hay wagon so want to lock it down straight. Will grab some big bolts/

Very nice looking. I went to TSC they have red coloured rubber coated draw pins 3/4 inch dia. These protect your paint as well. Approximately $5.00 Canadian.
They also look nice and can de locked on the draw bar by the use of a cross pin. I use them on my BN.
