Farmall BN Wiring Problems

I just scored a Farmall BN this weekend for a good price. Has the magneto on it. Crank start. Does have the starter on it but there is no wires to it or no way to hook a cable up. Would like to know what wiring I need to do to get it running. Looks like someone hacked the wires at some point in time. Should be pretty simple. Have attached some pictures of what I have in front of me. Thanks.

You need to ask permission from Kim the site moderator to post pics when new here. (keeps low lifes from posting nasty images) The starter probable has a small lump of copper sticking out of the top of the casing. This is a stud that is a contact for a mechanical "saddle" switch. The switch has a pull rod attached that is connected to the battery negative terminal. The diagrams supplied in the link are correct. Remember the wire to the mag is a ground to stop, no voltage is ever attached to it. just a grounding kill switch. Jim

get an owners manual they have the dia.Being a old tractor is the original starter and gen still there The starter should be a Delco Remy with the #1101021 and GEN 1101423 OR 1101355 both gens were three brush and had a cutout on top of the gen.The cutouts are no longer availlable so its important to get a reg thats made for them pos ground system 6v
