Farmall C carburetor.

Our C is starting to stumble when under heavy, if I choke it a little it will recover. It's a non-adjustable carb, I imagine I can drop the bottom off and clean out the main jet. Sound possible?

Zenith: I have have issues with idle circuit. Very small hole in cast bowl . I use a .04 drill by hand to clear it out Very careful it will be clean if look in and see drill inside the main jet cavity in bowl. I have not had much luck cleaning it with any carb cleaners or solution cleaner tanks , my suggestion while bowl is off .

When my C would act like that it was usually something in the fuel system. Pull the fuel line at the carb and drain into an empty gas can and see how long you have a strong flow.

I bought this carb off Amazon. It has two fuel mix screws. I very happy with it. If you are not happy, free returns.
