Farmall C steering gear

Having problem removing steering shaft from the steering box. I am trying to install a new bearing on the shaft but can't push it out.

some of them screw out. maybe a c does also. hmmm do not know

There is a part called a Brake part retainer in the diagram provided, Part 11, that must be unscrewed. then the U joint must
be removed then it should screw out the front. There is a deep groove ball bearing under the big plug. Clean the shaft well,
and polish it before screw/pushing it through the bolster bushing and seal. Jim

After removing the big nut it will screw rite out by turning the shaft
