how would astock 248 do with a 450 cam

Just about like any other stock 248.They are same part no. Specs may or may not be different depends who you ask. At any rate a cam change by itself wont help much unless your old cam is wore out.

You can tell the difference, the 450 cam and a little more RPM will make a world of difference

A 450 cam has a different lift and duration than a M cam, a 450 cam also has left hand threads.
