Farmall Front Rim Identification

Does anyone happen to know the details on this type of front rim? As you can see the mounting loops are unique compared to others. One is rusted through and Id like to find an identical replacement. Its on an H with 16 tires, but the true rim diameter is over 17.

Any idea what these might have come off of?

Many thanks!

Just FYI the rim diameter is measured where the bead contacts the rim on the horizontal. If you're getting 17" to the outside of the lip then you have a 16" rim.

They don't make new replacements like that anymore. New ones just have a welded flat plate with a hole in it. So you're either going to have to replace both rims with matching new ones or search swap meets and scrap yards to find a match for your one good one.

Not knowing your fabricating ability, how about
removing the lugs from the rim and attach them to a
different 16x6 .. or whatever it is .. rim? Those are
easy enough to find, would have to torch the center
out if you cant find a bare one, but its doable.

I think the early H's possibly had a
slightly different rim. But I'm not
positive on that.
Anyways, you could probably find a
matching pair in just about any
salvage yard, at a reasonable price.

There appears to be some on ebay. Otherwise stated previously you should be able to find them in a tractor scrap yard.

Can't be sure without seeing other side of rim but looks to be a earlier rim that only had 3 rivets mounting loops to rim compared to 4 on others. Find some of those that ended up with loop welded on. Also made 4 inch and 4.25 wide rims.
