Farmall Grill Question

[DD in WA]

I'm getting my late uncle's '42 H and plan on restoring it. I haven't brought it home yet but know I need a replacement grill because the one it is bent up beyond repair. There's a grill on ebay I think is for an H but need some expert opinions to be sure before bidding. Here's the link:

Is this the correct one for a '42 H and will it fit???

Thanks,

DD

I can't tell you if that's for an 'H' or not but what I can tell is it's for a very early model. It is attached with Dzuz fasteners which on an H is only used up to serial number 49749 so that leaves out the year you are looking for.
