farmall h/350 puller

hey guys i need some help.i was talking to a guy on here a few months ago and he said i could put ih 656 pistons is a farmall 350 engine and run it sleevless? is it true?.he also said i might need to do some work with the head.? is there any other ways to get a farmall 350 motor around 70-100 hp? thanks in advance! Aaron.

yeah im not sure.thats kinda why i was asking.i think i will just throw a regular rebuild kit in it,anything else i could do? roller rockers? a pulling cam? thanks aaron

If you want anywhere near 100 horse from an H you better plan on a 6" stroked crank right away. The pistons you want to fit the 350 bore without sleeves are C-200/C-301 pistons but the compression height is shorter so you"ll need more stroke or different rods, preferably both depending on what R.P.M range you plan on running.

can i bore it out and put a overbore kit in it?...how much stroke do i need? i have my governer set pretty high, highest rpms ill be running will be around 1800-2200,thanks

cams are usually a waste of money at that rpm. a different grind may actually be worse than stock
